I also have a 3 yr old that I think might be ODD. I don't know enough about the disorder yet to determine if it's that or typical behavior for a child her age that has been through what she has. She is seeing a Dr. for an evaluation. It's strange because I can ask her to do me a favor and most of the time she is more than happy to do it for me. But if I ask her to follow some kind of rule or ask her to not do something that she is doing that's when we get the defiance. On the rare occasion that she does follow a rule that was given I try to make a big deal out of it. I will let you know if I find out anything that may help you. It is so frustrating dealing with this.
