Night time Diapers

Our daughter has been potty trained since 3 years old. She may still have an occasional "slight accident" if she waits too long-mostly when playing outside. Otherwise, no problems. She is now 4 years 3 months old.

Night time she has made NO progress whatsoever. She may have a dry diaper 1-2 nights per week, other nights just saturated. Even though we stop giving her fluids about 1-1.5 hours before bed and she fully empties her bladder before bedtime.

I know that this is not uncommon-I know some kids are very heavy sleepers and others the bladder is not developed enough to stay dry all night.

Any suggestions or should I just not worry?

My husband wants to send her to bed without a diaper and just put a plastic matress pad on the bed. I think we will be changing LOTS of sheets during the middle of the night.
