When my nephew was younger (and living with me) his favorite meal was Shephard's Pie. It was quick and easy. Tons of frozen mixed veggie and browned ground meat (lamb or beef) covered with mashed potatoes (frozen or from the box) served with gravy.
Another favorite was any kind of stew from the crock pot which came in handy on football nights!
