Since everyone else who's responded here has been more in the affirmative, I want to share that, No, my three children don't look like us a great deal at all. My bio dd does favor me 50% of the time, but she also looks a great deal like her bio dad, who is not my dh; her bio dad is great looking, so I don't mind -- and he's been a good dad (just never a role model, which she's always noticed). My two youngest were adopted at birth and like their older sister, are each 50% or more Hispanic -- beautiful features, gorgeous dark hair. My dh and I have light brown hair. The cool thing is that my children look like one another in many ways and I love that. It was never important to me that my children look like me; good thing, huh? What IS important is that my children grow up with the personal qualities, interests and skills that represent our values and hope for their futures: Interests in the fine arts (music, art, theatre), strong in academics, love for learning, very assertive and positive self esteem, candid, enjoy sharing their thoughts, wonderful senses of humor, love expressed, so many special traits/skills. And you know what, they are each developing these interests and qualities -- I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but I do appreciate their approaches to life so very much! susan
