Are you saying that you feel like age 11 is too young for a parent to tell their child that they are adopted? If that's the case, I just find that so interesting, because my experience with adoptees who were not told that they were adopted until they were in their teens or OLDER is that they harbor a lot of resentment towards their parents for not telling them the truth. I have known that I was adopted for as long as I can remember.
