Hi all! I am new to foster parenting, my husband and I are starting our training in June which will start the whole process. We are both 25 (on the young side) and we are having trouble getting pregnant and with the idea of adoption in mind we thought we would try fostering. We are both unsure of the process how long it could take what it includes. I am already dolling up the bedroom - I have a lot stuff if we get an infant since we were trying I have a lot A LOT of baby stuff. I could use any advice you have to offer - especially if anyone has had to deal with racist people in your family. My husbands side of the family there are about 3 people that are just AWFUL the way they talk about people makes me really dislike them however I don't want a child to be put into something like that so we had to put a restriction there any advice!!
