Ok, I finally have 2 minutes to post something on here. My husband 2 biological daughters and I are in the process of adopting from Russia. We don't know which region yet and are waiting for our referral. I often jump on here and love the "family" that is on here. Everyone is always so supportive and willing to lend an encouraging word or two. I love it. So I would like to "officially" join you all, and help support and encourage others who are going through what we are going through.
With that said, I have just finished reading a book that my Social worker recommended to me, while we are officially "waiting to travel" The book is called "The Marvelous Journey Home", it is about a Russian adoption and I felt that at the beginning of the book I could have written it myself!! But I would highly recommend it. Great read if you are in the waiting stage it gives you something to hang on to.
