Then I put our name, address, phone and email addy. I then put our cw's info.
Family presentation book:
I bought a presntation folder at walmart that have the clear pockets.. I made pictures of our family, letting our oldest daughter narrate them and how our life is. Then I print out the childs profile and put that in there followed by "what our HS doean't say", followed by a copy of our HS, then on the last page I put Thank You for looking at our family.
So that when the cw gets it, it's in a neat little package. I've had 3 different cw's in 3 different states tell me that our family presentation book is what pushed us over the finish line.
An example of why: There's this gorgeous little girl that has global dev delays.
You inquire on her, send in your HS, and this is what the cw see's. Mr & Mr.s Blank have been approved to adopt, their background checks have cleared and they have taken all of their mandatory training.
Thats what a basic HS tells them.
Then she get's our family book, and what she see's is WOW this family knows all about how to care for her, they know about the doctors and therapies that she requires, so they place your's on the potential family pile.
