MY son was on the photolisting. We expressed an interest in him. However... we did not know at the time that another social worker who met us at a match party had already alerted my kiddo's worker that we'd be a good match.

In our case, we met a very specific criteria and that's how we were moved to the top of the list (There were over 100 inquiries on him from the photolisting, or so I heard). They wanted a theraputically trained foster home with no other children and a stay at home parent. I imagine there's not TOO many of those floating around.

Often the photolistings are not updated in a timely manner.

It took us 5 months to get things ironed out with our son. We were an approved foster home for 9 months before he moved in.
