It does feel kind of strange. I guess one reason is it took me so long to become a mom I guess I didn't realize that I could be a good one.
My ex gave me that compliment about 2 months ago out of the blue. He called me up and said to me "I never told you this but I just wanted you to know that I think you are a great mom and I appreciate how you are raising Kelcee."
The next day I emailed him (after I sat on it for 24 hours) and asked if he had done something wrong that I shoudl be aware of? All he could do was chuckle at me.
