we have had wonderful success!! We are working on our 4th adoption, 3 being from the photolistings.
I think our luck has come from two things.
#1 We want kids that normally nobody wants.
#2 Our family presentation book that i send along with our homestudy. It has pictures of our family and I include a "What Our Homestudy Doesn't Say" document.
Homestudies in general are very basic and doesn't really tell about the experience that the family has. So by writing the document, it just makes you a little bit more stand outtish.
It's sad, but a fact that you have to sell yourself and your family to most case workers, or your homestudy just gets thrown on the pile with other families.
You have to make you and your family stand out from the rest.
