The tax credit we will get for the twins is going to be really useful, but I'm not even sure that we'll get the full amount back after 5 years - and that's only of course if we can even use it for 5 years if they stop giving it in two.

What I mean is that when you don't earn much and don't pay much in terms of taxes, especially when you add a kid in the mix, you won't always get the full amount of the credit anyway. So it really doesn't help low income families, which is a bit ironic as they are the ones who could use the help the most in the first place.

There should be a better way of making adoption affordable.
