I asked my social worker about it
When we met the first time, and she told us that she as giving us 9 months before she kept us in line for other AA or BR adoptions, I told her we wouldn't be able to afford it again, esp if the credit was reduced or went away. She said she had heard the rumblings too, and from everything she had read, she thought the candidates would have a very hard time including the adoption credit as part any plan to eliminate Tax Credits. It's not quite the same as Tax Credits for other things.

12/07 - Approved to adopt.

11/15/08 - FINALIZE in St. Louis on National Adoption Day!
06/22/09 - Maybe we should do this again?
06/25/09 - Start the official paperwork to update our home study and make Tyler a big brother.
07/13/09 - Match with a 2.5 month old baby BOY!
07/28/09 - Matty is in our arms!
