Maybe your looking at this Mothers Day thing all wrong?

I think from now on it should be a day for you to celebrate all of your achievements as a mother. Leave the kids and hubby for the entire day, maybe the entire weekend and go on a little holiday. Or buy yourself something special... Here's an idea... Whenever Shorty does something she knows is wrong, don't just give her the usual repercussions, fine her as well. By next Mothers Day you should have earned a wonderful trip or gift for yourself!!!

I guess what I'm trying to say is, if others can't seem to make the day special for you, then you should find a way to make it special yourself.

I'm very sorry you felt let down. I'm having a very bad day myself. I have nothing to celebrate on Mothers Day, no children and no mother...
