I see they apologized. I forgive them, and I believe that someone somewhere in the recesses of Teleflora and/or NBC is sincerely and truly sorry for this whole ordeal. I am sure it was ignorance - in the kindest sense of the word - not malice, which caused this positively colossal error in corporate judgement.
It baffles me how anyone at all familiar with adoption could call any one of us a non-mom. The only thing more puzzling is how that hugely offensive title made it through whatever system of checks and balances their marketing verbiage goes through internally.
*sigh* I am pretty low-maintenance on the politically-correct scale, usually cut folks slack because virtually everyone says something without thinking at one time or another. But large companies with marketing teams reviewing copy before it goes to print? I really don't get how this happened.
