Z, that really doesn't sound so bad.
I got a phone call from both R's and M went with us to my sisters. The only mother's day acknowledgement was the pink carnation I got from my father.
The puppies ate the couch as hubby decided to leave them inside instead of out.
But I had a good time visiting with my siblings and extended family and the sun is shining so all and all, a pretty good mother's day for me.
