"Helpful" extended family

I must say that most of the time we feel very blessed with the extended family we have in our lives. However, times like to day when it is many people we don't see very often, I come home grumpy.

Everyone that does not seem him freqently treats Teeter sooooooooo differently than all the other kids. Like he is breakable. They don't let us set the perameters for what other kids can and cannot do around him (check out his O2, touch him, play with him) We're "mean" because we let him fuss (please find me a 13 month old - his corrected age - who does not fuss when they are over-tired) and we don't jump up at his every whim. He is already an EXTREMELY spoiled boy due to having nurses to himself quite often. We don't wish to make it worse...

I know we are making smart choices for his long-term development, I just wish other people saw it that way.
