We had a nice talk even though I was at work and was watching out the window in case my boss got back

Some new great news! She passed all her tests for the end of the year, and is all registered for next semester (over the summer), and the financial aid that she managed to get for summer includes a laptop! That means she will get internet and we can also e-mail each other! I'm so excited

We send her pictures really frequently, but for her to be able to get e-mail pictures and talk with me on e-mail will be really nice. I think it is also easier sometimes to say things that are hard to say over e-mail...maybe for both of us.
She said she was happy to talk to me, and she heard all about Ty, and when I was talking about his BIG personality, she just laughed and said...oh you just wait! She also said she had mailed me something for me for mother's day, and wanted to know if I got it. I haven't yet, and she was sort of bummed out. She hadn't gotten the pictures, etc that I sent her yet either though, so we were even...both procrastinators I guess!! When we get the new pictures of Ty we just got taken (we get them tomorrow....they are amazing) we'll send her a 5 X 7 of one of them too with a frame.
M goes to an adoption group that is down the street from her house. I guess it is held every Saturday and is a mix of adoptive parents, bparents, and adoptees. I'm so glad she has that support. Sounds like it's a large group and she commented that there were a lot of "older" people there that had a lot of good advice. I don't know if by older she means my age (I'm about 5 years older than her) or is she really means elderly. She was hoping to get the pictures in time to take them to her meeting. I ended up calling her again last night to tell her that I had also sent pictures to the walgreens that is about a mile from her house and they were ready for pick up. I wanted her to have a few pictures to share with the group
Then at the end of the call she told me to give Ty a big hug and kiss from her and R, and to tell Ty that they loved him. I know she loves him, but she's never said it before, so it was nice to know that she was comfortable expressing that to me.
Anyway, it was a nice call. I always enjoy hearing from her. Even though she calls me "Ma'am" and it makes me feel so old...lol. When we got home I curled up with Ty and he had a bubba and heard all about what his bfamily was up to.
