DH and I *JUST* sent in our registration and registration fee today - so we are finally on a real path to adoption. We've decided on WHFC and we're doing the Ethiopia program.

I am giddy, but also apprehensive. We'll have to fill out our application and then get accepted... so until that happens, I will be a bit nervous.

We are the parents of 4 bio children, but feel that God has called us to open our home and share our gifts with a child who really needs them. That is what led us to Ethiopia.

We are also a military family, and my husband is deployed to Iraq right now. He will be home for R&R in the fall, which is when he will complete his part of our homestudy (working with an agency who will do this for us!). Then he will be home in March from this tour.
