There is an adoptee bill of rights, bill A02277, and the senate version S00235, that are being tossed around in the New York Legislature this year, same as the past 15 years! Please write to speaker Sheldon Silver, and supporters of A02277 to show your support. This bill would unseal New York Adoption records and give adoptees access to their original birth certificate, complete with birthparents names on it. You can visit
