We waited two years for our son, and hope to finalize in July.

Edited to add... Life doesn't come with guarantees.... when someone gets pregnant, there is no guarantee the pregnancy will go to term. no guarantee the child will be healthy..... even today there is not a guarantee that when our children get on the bus to go to school, they will come home.... IMHO... life happens even if you don't take chances... I firmly believe..... Work hard..... Play hard.... every day is a gift.
