Michelle - I practice in a heavily hispanic area and will work with hispanic bmoms any chance I can get. I do speak spanish (used to be fluent and now just get by) and have hispanic referral sources.

That said, I RARELY see hispanic bmoms. When I do, they are willing to completely separate themselves from their communities and need lots of resources to do this. Generally speaking the hispanic communities are tightly family oriented and if someone is pregnant and can't raise for one reason or another, the community takes care of the child within the community.

I have several hispanic prospective aparents that are always reminding me of their desires to find a hispanic child and we have not had a lot of luck.
