Hi! I also have a question on adopting and/or foster parenting with a disability. I have a cousin with 4 grown children of her own and her husband had a brain injury quite a long time ago and he is healthy but under her care or guardianship. He is really good with their 6 grandkids and they would be wonderful foster or adoptive parents but my cousin believes they would not qualify because of his brain injury. Does anyone know about this? I think if a social worker studied them they might qualify? Or are they automatically disqualified? Thanks.
