WOW! For me it was the same as when I gave birth. I have heard that some of us don't feel the same right away---but, I did......
It was hard at first to meet because I felt like I didn't want to scare the kids and then it was hard because I didn't feel entitled right at first---and felt a little like I still had to step back and let the Foster mother keep being the mother----just for a few more hours.....and one more day.......and one more meeting then they were mine to love!
If I were you I would take a long bubble bath, have fun with the old man and get a good night of sleep! It might be awhile before you feel back to normal again.....enjoyt this night it is the last night before you start the rest of your life MOM!
