In LA here. Just wanted to remind you that you are not limited to adopting with a California agency. When we adopted our angel, we were not comfortable with a 90 day revocation, which has since been changed to 30 (big difference.) Last I understood, PACT was no longer acting to facilitate adoption but continuing their education program for families. Maybe they began again. We began our journey with Gladney in Texas and ultimately used A TLC adoption in Salt Lake City. There has been a lot of feedback on the boards regarding some of the agencies/facilitators you mentioned, some it it not positive. Before committing to any route, I would contact the Bureau of Licensing usually headed under the Medicaid Division for licensure details on the agency. Unfortunately, because facilitators are not licensed, it is not possible to do this prior to using them. Best of luck!
