Good luck with the adoption "road". We're approved both foster and adopt, so whatever they throw at us we're ready!!
It sucks when the bios mess around with the kids like that. You need to let your c/w know that she called when she wasn't supposed to, though. I'm doing the exact same thing, this fine Monday morning!! (at least it's not raining, right??) Our fs bio called and wanted to see him on Friday - although all visits are suspended pending a drug test, which as far as I know, he hasn't done yet (although he tried to tell my hubby on the phone that he DID).
It's frustrating for us (and the kids) to go through, but the bios are only hurting themselves in the end. There is a reason your boys are going to crown ward, and it's not YOU!!!! lol Sometimes I wonder what goes through their heads. It's such a big production to see their kids, but all they had to do is work their caseplan in the first place.
Our fs was supposed to go home this Thurs. but I don't think that's going to happen now - although with our agency, ya never know!!! Stranger things have happened, that's for sure. I know all the agencies (esp in Ontario with that little boy in London being killed in Oct) are starting to crack down, and one "mess up" by the bios, and it's THAT much harder to get their kids back....
I hope "someone" figures out what is going to happen to our fs. Every day he's here, he's getting more and more attached... and frankly, so are we. He was originally here for a set period of time, but that went out the window within the first couple months... lol
