First, moving off post would not be beneficial to us. We do not want to buy a house here. We also have two dogs, which makes renting practically impossible. The house we were given to live in is a wonderful three bedroom home (and there are just the two of us and the two dogs). We did look into off post housing when we got here and could not find anything. THe BAH does not cover the cost of housing here.
Everyone gave lots of great ideas that I will have to process.
I know I will have some questions about them, but will be taking a long weekend - so it will be a while before I can ask them.
