Hello!
We started researching agencies in May, had our first meeting with the one we chose in June, started working on our homestudy in July, and finished everything in August.
We spent September waiting for the agency to finish processing our paperwork, and we started searching the online photolistings.
We have our homestudy in on one of the kids now, and there's another 15 or so singles or sib groups that our worker is checking on now.
Our bio son is one (well, 17 months). I had many pregnancy problems - severe morning sickness, preeclampisa, HELLP Syndrome - and our son had to be delivered 12 weeks early. So, there is no way that we'd want to get pregnant again.
We had always talked about adopting... and now we think that this is the way that God is leading us. That our next child is out there waiting on us to find him/her.
It is nice having this site to come to for support and information.
