You are the only one that knows what is best for you as far as becoming a foster parent. The only thing is that if you and your husband are talking divorce it will be very hard on your children and you may want to wait a little while.
As far as the lady at the party, you should call and report her to DFACS or speak to her yourself, as this baby is suffering...sounds like abuse to me. You need to do what you know in your heart is the right thing.
