We are just going through the process of becoming foster parents. We have a 3 year old bio son, and we were told that they could not approve us if we did not change our veiws on spanking. We do spank our son, not often, but when he needs it. We totally agree that foster children should not be spanked nor should they see you spank your own child, because it can be confusing to them. But why can't you spank your own children in a different room privatly. How can they tell you how to raise your own children? Is every agency like this?
