Unfortunately for us foster parents who have done no wrong, it comes to these things. But, this is consistent with being a foster parent. Here's a note:
NOTE: AN INTERESTING FACT FOR YOU TO KNOW: A STUDY WAS COMPLETED AT THE UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN. THE RESULTS WERE THAT IF YOU ARE A FOSTER PARENT FOR FIVE YEARS, YOU HAVE AN 80% CHANCE OF HAVING AN ALLEGATION FILED UPON YOU.
But, the system needs to be in place for those foster parents who actually do need to be investigated. You need to have your documentation in order and if they pull the children and enter it in your record, you will need to get an attorney to have it expunged from your record. It can be done.
