Hello George, I am sure there is a way to adopt your relative, but you must first find an attorney who is familiar with China laws. You need someone to guide you through the process. I understand that China regulates foreign adoptions very closely and their process can be very tedious, but again you need to get someone who can guide you through the legal process.
