Politically correct but unfair.

The emphasis of my message was on the unmarried aspect. Unmarried heterosexual couples have a harder time adopting because it's felt they COULD get married if they wanted to but gay couples cannot legally marry so in that case gay couples can adopt by one of them being the legal adoptive parent and the other partner is NOT a legal parent. It is politically correct but unfair to hetero domestic partners like myself. If you are single period you'd have a better chance as well.
