Thanks Dadto2 your info has given me a little hope. I know that it's an emotional roller coaster which is why I was hesitant to consider this option at first but I guess if you prepare yourself and know that you could lose them ahead of time you are more prepared for it (although I'm sure it's still gut wrenching). The more I have heard from people about it the more I think I may consider this option as my way to go. It would be absolutely devastating to have a child in your home for a long period of time and then lose them but I guess that may be the chance you have to take in order to someday be a parent.
