It is a good place to listen to birth moms, adoptees, and adoptive parents stories. Also you can listen to how other people have gone about their search.

I've already gotten my non-identifying information, and I'm kinda stuck. I know that my father graduated from HS and I was born in New Orleans. I have the papers for the ISRR but haven't filled them out yet. My father is mexican with brown curly hair, was 20 years old when I was born. That makes him 44 years old now. I was going to look thru yearbooks from HS's close to the VOA in New Orleans and see if I could find someone that fits what he looks like.. But other then that, it seems I am stuck unless I pay for the 900.00 to do a PI search.
