Welive in the UK,our homesudy has to be done by our local Council Social Services Dept,they have a policy of not placing children older than the youngest bio child.We wish to adopt a child from Russia,he is 5 and we have a 1 yr old baby ,we also have 3 other kids,8,13,19.The social services are wanting us to give them reasons why we dont think the adoption would be detrimental to our youngest child.Does anybody know good proven reasons that we can use to argue our case,we know our kids and they are delighted that we want to have another member to our family.The baby naturally can not voice his opinion on the adoption
