Otaining a home study

My husband and myself would like to try to adopt 2 children internationally from the Ukraine. I am a US citizen and my husband is a Canadian citizen. We are currently living in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on a 3 year work assignment. Our permanent residence in the States is in Louisiana. We have been searching for a licensed social worker here in Jeddah to perform our homestudy, and have so far been unable to find one. We have networked through all our friends, social clubs, and the U.S. Consulate, all to no avail. Would it be possible to employ the services of a social worker back in the U.S. to complete a homestudy without them having the possibility of meeting us in person, or visiting our home here in Saudi Arabia?
