I wouldn't get into Avon, Mary Kay, or any of those sales business' unless you are prepared to take a lot of time away from your family. Sure you may make some good money at some of these parties, but there is a lot of work involved before the parties. And a lot of time spent generating customers. They make all of these type of business' sound real easy and they swear by all the money you'll make for just a couple hours of work per week, but that's not the reality. You really have to work long hours and work your buns off to make good money. You also need to be a very assertive person and bug people all the time. Oh and it's not reliable income. One month could be feast the next famine which doesn't cut it if you're trying to plan for bills, food, etc...
