I agree with numbr1dbksfan.
If this woman is carrying another couple's biological child, then it really isn't just a simple matter of "deciding whether to keep it". I imagine she would have to adopt it... hopefully she meets the state's criteria for an adoptive parent. If she wishes to place the child for adoption, I would think the biological parents would have to be the ones, also, to sign the papers and relinquish the child.
If the child is a product of her egg and donor sperm, then of course that's a different and much simpler matter. If she's the biological mother then nobody can contest her right to keep or place it. From a practical standpoint, those are my thoughts and concerns on the issue.
From a moral standpoint, I have to agree with Cleo. It's sick.
Does the surrogate still get paid, I wonder?
