Although I haven't adopted yet (but hope to soon!) I have heard great things about the new line of Pantene products for textured hair. If anyone on here has used it, I would be interested to hear your opinions on it.
And about the dolls, our daughter (who is cauc.) has both white and AA dolls. Plus I purposefully bought her a cauc. barbie with brunette hair because I was so sick of see those blonde white barbies! I come from a transracially family but since my husband and I are cauc. we wanted our kids to feel free to play with any color doll. I'm sure it doesn't make a huge difference to my daughter, a doll is a doll. But my husband says I have to over-analyze everything! It's just my nature.
