First of all, congratulations! What an exciting time!

We have a biracial boy, and his hair is straight but sort of coarse. It went through all different stages from birth to 1 year of age, it started kinky and I just used some gel for AA men to keep it that way, then it started to go straight, and now I just use regular conditioner and a little "frizz ease" to keep it from getting out of control during the day. My husband is AA and there are plenty of products in the store you can use. I would wait until you see what kind of hair she has, she may have really kinky hair or straight, just don't worry for many months because it will go through stages.

Good luck to you and your family!
