Thank you for the info.
I had totaly forgot about this post.
It was so long ago I posted it.
Anyways.
My views have changed abit since the time I posted them.
I'm still wanting to adopt and planning it and everything such as that.
But I have become more open to things.
For one special needs I'm more open to now than I was before.
I think i would be good to parent a special needs child
due to I have alot of medical experance.
And I'm also open to a boy
now I still think a girl would be better but I'm not going to be picky on this.
And I'm will to parent a child any where under 6
insted of 1-4 like I listed before.
I would Consider older then this but
Since I dont know if i will be adopting or anything more than this one time(As a single parent I know I wont)
I would like to have at least one chance to experance
the younger years.
I wish I could say I changed my mind on race of the child.
But thats one thing I have not done nor could due.
I dont care about the race personaly a child is a child
and should becared for and loved to matter what skin color they have.
But the down I live in is very bad about race and I'm looking out for best intrest of the child when I look at the race option.
Also I'm making sure I dont rush into any of this.
I have learned alot over the last few weeks as well as picked up parenting books.
I also Contacted Local collage about parenting classes.
Been helping with a Cusins kids to get more experance.
Also my state makes one take classes in order to adopt
so I will recive those to.
Also I will make sure everything is totaly right before I begain.
I dont want to start all of it and be over my head.
I want to be ready to work with the social worker
and once I have adopted be the best parent I can be.
Anyways
now that you know where I'm at now.
