My husband is also on Paxil and it did not hinder our foster parenting process nor our adoption process. We are licensed foster parents and homestudy approved for adoption. We have a 3 month old foster son right now and my husband has been on Paxil for anxiety/depression for about three years. You should be fine! Good luck.
