.....As I read the different adoption forums, this has been mentioned frequently and I am just curious now. Do you have to have a foster license to adopt an infant domestically? Or is this just required in some states and not in others. Our Agency has not mentioned anything to me about being licensed to foster before we can adopt. I know that in order to adopt through the state, one must first become a foster parent....but I didnt think one had to do this if they adopted domestically through an agency?

Any info on this??
