It is so wonderful that you are developing a relationship with the birthmom. It sounds like she knows what she is doing as she has a two-year-old already. I hope the best for you and your husband. It is also great that your family is so supportive (buying a crib, ect). Five years is a long time to wait! How did you do it? Can you give some suggestions that could help others?
