Hi, My name is Margaret. I am beginning the journey to becoming a single adoptive parent. I plan on adopting internationally. How long was your leave of absence from work? Do adoption agencies require a six weeks leave after adopting? Has anyone returned to work immediately after adopting? I am wondering if it would be less traumatic to a child to go into daycare or spend a few weeks with the parent and then go into daycare.
