If you have already proven your ability to care for and love this child, there should be no problem, in my eyes. Of course, I am a bi-sexual female who is currently in a long-term monogamous relationship with a female and trying to adopt myself so I may be a bit one-sided. Anyway, my opinion is if they don't let you have her, fight it will have you have. I'm sure there is a Gay and Lesbian rights organization out there somewhere that will help you.
