Did you have them for a long period of time? If they were doing o'kay with you over an extened time period, even if they have new abuse issues, they probably will still be o'kay but will need therapy to deal with any new trauma. If your able to work with four little children, six shouldn't be that much different. I have nine, but I don't work except volunteer work that's flexable.
Be honest with your self and the kids. As you know, adoption is forever and quilt or feelings of obligation won't be enough for it to work. Maybe if you visit with them with the rest of the kids and watch how they interact, it will be easier for you to make a decision.
