My husband and I just completed our homestudy. Three days after our profiles went out, a birth mother chose us. She is due any day which is very exciting. The down side to this is we had some unexpected financial difficulties this winter and some of our adoption fund was used to get us through it all. We are not sure if we will be able to accept this baby because of being unable to pay the fees. We did not expect to be chosen so soon -- we thought we would have time to save up and do a little fund-raising to replenish our adoption fund. I ask for prayer in this matter. We know God works everything out in His time. Thanks!
