I am very happy, if you trust your agency that much. However, I do belive an official government's web site over your agency. I understand that you don't know how to read Russian law. Otherwise, you would be able to find out for yourself (like I did)and will not be agressive towards me.
Can I ask how much your agency charged for an adoption? A lot, ha! Do you know how much an adoption cost in Russia? I do.
I am not trying to upset you. I am trying to make a point.

Well WHAT is your point???
You said that adoption paperwork from "any American adoption agencies will not be accepted for 2 years". Then you said "Well, independant adoption is still an option...".
To me, it seems as though you were saying that you cannot adopt through Russia for another 1 year, if you are using an agency. That is not true.
Then somewhere you changed your topic, and have decided that it's about how much things cost, which is totally irrelevant. It is obvious to me that you are anti-agencies, or you wouldn't be posting this sort of thing.
